We run on the First Wednesday of every month in the Old Manor, Wyllyotts Place, Potters Bar, EN6 2JD.
At First Wednesday Chess, we welcome anyone who already knows how to move the pieces, from beginner to the occasional master.
Accompanied children are welcome. We already welcome lots of juniors to the meetup and they make up a chunk of the regulars!
Of course! This is casual chess, so join and leave whenever you want. We are in the Old Manor from 6pm to 9pm, so come whenever is best for you.
Absolutely not! First Wednesday Chess is a free casual chess meetup. Generally, we have enough sets provided for everyone, but feel free to bring your own too.
