• Rapid: 5× 10+2 (FIDE/ECF-rated, one large section – may be accelerated)
• Freestyle: 1× 10+2 (official FIDE Chess960 rules – Appendix F)
Players get 2 minutes to study the generated Freestyle position before clocks start.
